At Hose & Rubber Supply, our people are at the heart of everything we do, and helping support those people every step of the way is Nicole, one of our dedicated Human Resources Specialists.
Although Nicole joined the company in September, she has already become an important part of the team. With more than 20 years of experience in human resources, she brings a wealth of knowledge, professionalism, and compassion to her role. Nicole holds a bachelor's degree in Business Administration with an emphasis in Human Resource Management, as well as a master's degree in Leadership and Management.
As an HR Specialist, Nicole wears many hats. Her responsibilities include onboarding new employees, managing offboarding processes, assisting with payroll, supporting compliance initiatives, administering benefits, and handling a variety of other HR-related functions. While she may not be the person conducting the initial interviews, she plays a critical role in welcoming new team members and ensuring they have everything they need to succeed from day one.
Nicole discovered Hose & Rubber Supply while searching for a new opportunity after leaving a highly demanding and stressful position. What attracted her was the chance to work in an environment that offered both professional fulfillment and a healthier work-life balance. Since joining the company, she has found exactly that. "The family feel is what stands out most," Nicole says. "Everyone is willing to jump in, help where needed, and take ownership of their work."
As an employee-owned company, Hose & Rubber Supply fosters a culture where team members are invested in the company's success. Nicole appreciates how employees work together to solve problems and support one another, creating a positive environment that benefits both customers and coworkers.
Outside of work, Nicole enjoys spending time with her family. She is newly married and the proud mother of two children, a 21-year-old and a 16-year-old. Her family is continuing to grow as she looks forward to welcoming a soon-to-be daughter-in-law.
When she's not at work, you'll often find Nicole attending concerts, crafting, or enjoying family game nights. She also loves to travel and recently enjoyed a cruise with her sister and niece. While she and her family own a camper, she jokes that it doesn't get nearly as much use as it should.
