At Hose and Rubber Supply, some careers begin with a job application—others, like Brock’s, begin with Saturdays spent tagging along to work with dad. Today, Brock is a warehouse associate at the Salt Lake City branch, where he’s built a solid foundation rooted in hard work, family tradition, and a vision for the future.

A Career That Started in Childhood

Brock’s connection to Hose and Rubber runs deep. His father, the branch manager in Salt Lake City, has been with the company for nearly two decades. “I used to come to work with him on Saturdays when I was a kid,” Brock says. “I just always loved coming here, so having a job here now is perfect.”

That early exposure sparked a genuine appreciation for the industry and the people. Now a full-time warehouse associate, Brock’s day-to-day includes unloading deliveries, organizing inventory, and building hose assemblies to support front counter operations.

A Tight-Knit Team

What keeps Brock showing up each day isn’t just the work—it’s the culture. “The people here are fun to be around. Everyone’s helpful, and it’s just a fun place to work,” he shares. With his dad, brother, and cousin all working at the Salt Lake branch, Hose and Rubber has become more than just a job—it’s a true family affair.

Looking Ahead

Brock isn’t just clocking in and out—he has his eye on long-term growth. “I’d love to run a branch one day,” he says, clearly inspired by his father’s career path. With several years under his belt and a strong work ethic, he’s already laying the groundwork to take that next step when the time comes.

Life Outside the Warehouse

Outside of work, Brock leads an active lifestyle. He’s played lacrosse for nearly a decade and currently competes in a men’s league during the summer. He’s also an avid mountain biker who loves the climb as much as the downhill. “You’ve got to earn the downhill,” he laughs. “But Draper has some amazing trails.” When he’s not outdoors, you’ll find him gaming or hanging out with friends.
